What are the benefits of black soap for your body skin?



Black toilet soap is a flagship product of the hammam ritual. It is composed of oil and crushed black olives, which explains its dark color. Black soap on the body and face for an ultra gentle exfoliation

Despite the absence of grains, black soap is an effective exfoliant that can be used as a scrub for the face and body.

Directions for use: Wet your skin then apply the black soap to your face and / or body. Wait 10 minutes then rub the skin using a Kassa glove (which you can buy in most institutes, hammams, some beauty stores and in some pharmacies) or a horsehair glove to eliminate toxins and dead cells. Finally, rinse off with clean water and enjoy the softness of your skin.


Black soap for the body : a homemade shower gel

Black soap preserves the skin and can therefore be used as a classic shower gel.

Directions for use: dilute 2 tablespoons of black soap in a bowl of hot water. Apply the resulting mixture to the body like a classic shower gel. Rinse off by rubbing the skin with a horsehair glove.

Good to know: to prevent black soap from drying out, store it in the refrigerator.


Black soap for the face: an effective anti-wrinkle

Rich in vitamin E, black soap is an excellent moisturizer that has antioxidant properties. Used daily, it deeply hydrates the skin of the face, and thus prevents wrinkles.

How to use: Apply the black soap to your face as a mask, every morning for 5 minutes. Rinse it off with clean water.

White clay

Compose your treatments with mud or clay at home!

To prepare your clay dough - whatever color you like - pour it into a glass container and mix in water. Gradually add the water and stir until you get a soft but a little thick dough. Convenient: you can keep unused clay in the container, covered with water.


The face mask

Use if… you have large pores or blemishes (acne, rashes).

To renew… every week if you want!

How it works ? Mix 3 tablespoons of clay with 2 to 3 tablespoons of water. Apply a thick layer on the face, avoiding the eye area. Leave the face mask on for about 10 minutes. Rehumidify with a water spray if the clay begins to dry on the skin. Then remove the clay with lukewarm water. Dry your face with a tissue so you don't get a terry towel dirty.

The hair mask

 Use if ... you have oily hair or an irritated scalp.

How it works ? Mix 5 tablespoons of green clay with mineral water to obtain a smooth paste. Add 2 drops of oil (argan, olive, carrot ...) if you have dry hair. Apply this preparation only on your scalp. Massage then leave for 30 to 45 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm lemon water for extra shine.


The tip in +

For anti-dandruff care, add to the clay paste: 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil, 5 drops of thyme essential oil, 5 drops of lemon essential oil and 5 drops of essential oil of tea tree.


Detox drink

 Use if ... you want to flush out toxins after a heavy, high calorie dinner with clay.

How it works ? The same evening, pour 1 tablespoon of clay in 1 glass of mineral water and leave on overnight. The next morning, before the
